Tweede Thuis offers childminder care (gastouderopvang) in a homely, small-scale setting where every child receives the personal attention they need. As parents ourselves, we understand how important it is to be able to leave your child with peace of mind. That is why we work with a personal approach and strive for a good match between requesting parent and childminder. The care is flexible in terms of days and hours, and takes place at the childminder's home or at your home. All childminders are registered with the National Childcare Register (LRK) and meet the statutory quality requirements.

Tweede Thuis is active in the north of the Netherlands and has regional contact persons for the provinces of Drenthe, Groningen and Friesland. Parents can contact the representative in their region based on their postcode. The agency arranges childminder care (gastouderopvang) in various locations within these three northern provinces.

Tweede Thuis is a recognised childminder agency (gastouderbureau) that operates in accordance with the Childcare Act. All childminders (gastouders) are registered in the National Childcare Register and their inspection reports are publicly available. The agency is affiliated with the Disputes Committee for Childcare and Preschools and has a complaints procedure. In addition, Tweede Thuis is a member of the Childcare Industry Association (Brancheorganisatie Kinderopvang) and the Childminder Care Knowledge Network (Kennisnetwerk Gastouderopvang) for up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations.
