About this care
Located in the Reeshof district of Tilburg, right on the Langendijk cycle path between the B and G neighbourhoods and the Geschworen Hoek area, you’ll find our daycare centre Reeshoeve: a former farm lovingly transformed into a warm and welcoming childcare facility for children aged 0 to 4.
Everything we do revolves around nature and discovery. Our daycare groups are situated right next to the animal paddocks, so your child can enjoy the company of our goats, rabbits and pigs Tes and Pip from their very first day. We believe that outdoor play and contact with animals greatly support the development of young children. That’s why we go outside every single day – because at Reeshoeve, there’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. For the littlest ones, we provide special crawling suits so they can explore freely without getting cold.
Our pedagogical approach is playful and nature-based. We use themes that follow the seasons and the children’s experiences. Through these, children learn about language, numeracy and social skills – but above all, about the world around them. Think feeding the animals, picking vegetables from our garden or creating art from autumn leaves. All of this takes place in a safe, homely atmosphere where children quickly feel at ease.
We offer care on weekdays from 07:30 to 19:00. Our groups are horizontally structured to best support the development of babies, toddlers and preschoolers. GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Boerderij Reeshoeve in Tilburg on 14 January 2026. The inspection took place following an application to change the number of childcare places from 48 to 64. The location meets the quality requirements regarding pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation.
