Beestenboel

Welcome to Beestenboel daycare centre by gro-up, located at Puccinistraat 84 in Capelle aan den IJssel. We offer day care for children aged 0 to 4 in a green, homely environment where learning through play is at the heart of everything we do. Every day at Beestenboel is different and fun. We work with changing themes approximately every 6 weeks, such as 'enjoy your meal', 'this is me' and 'giants and gnomes'. Indoors, our spacious hallway features exciting discovery corners: a reading corner, climbing and clambering area, doll's corner and kitchen corner. Outdoors, children can play in our beautiful natural playground at the quiet rear of the building, with sandpit, water play element, slide hill, willow tent, stepping stones and a baby corner. We organise regular activities such as Mud Day, the Reading Breakfast, and celebrate Children's Book Week, Sinterklaas and Christmas. We also go on outings – to the playground or with the cargo bike to the park. For children aged 3 and up, we offer special 3-plus activities that provide extra challenge and prepare them for primary school. We have both baby groups (0-2 years) and mixed-age groups (1-4 years). In the baby groups we follow your child's own rhythm; towards toddler age they increasingly join the group routine. In the mixed groups, children of different ages learn from each other. A fixed daily routine with set times for eating, sleeping and playing provides structure and predictability. The transition to primary school is carefully prepared using the KIJK! transfer form, which we discuss with you and send to the school of your choice. We work closely with speech therapy and the Centre for Youth and Family (CJG) in Capelle aan den IJssel. Meals and nappies are included. Have any questions? Feel free to contact us or schedule a tour.
