GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 16 July 2026 at BSO Amethist branch BSO Koala in Assen, an after-school care (BSO) for 30 children aged 7 years and older. The location meets all inspected quality requirements. No violations or areas for improvement were identified in the examined areas: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and parental rights. The operator, Stichting Skid, has all required documentation in order, sufficient qualified staff and a functioning safety policy. The GGD advises the municipality of Assen not to take enforcement measures.
