This inspection report concerns a post-registration investigation for after-school care (BSO) Amethist branch BSO Koala in Assen, conducted by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Drenthe. The location of Stichting SKID Kinderopvang provides care for 30 children aged 7 years and older in two non-adjacent group rooms. All assessed quality requirements have been met: pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The pedagogical practice showed a positive atmosphere with trusting relationships between staff and children, clear rules and boundaries, and freedom for children to choose their own activities. Staffing levels meet legal requirements, including valid Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG), qualifications, and present first aid (EHBO) certified employees.
