Summary

This is a registration inspection for the new childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) of A.M.V. Simon at 2e Hogenbanweg 94 in Rotterdam, registered by childminder agency (gastouderbureau) 4Kids B.V. with four childcare places. The care takes place at the home address of the requesting parent. The childminder meets all legal requirements: she is 18 years or older, holds a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG), is registered in the Childcare Personnel Register, holds the required diploma and a first aid certificate (valid until 01-04-2027), and speaks Dutch. The living room provides sufficient play space, there is a separate bedroom, and the home is smoke-free. The garden is currently being renovated and has been recorded in the risk assessment as not in use; a new risk assessment will be required when it comes into use. Playgrounds in the neighbourhood are used as outdoor play space. All safety measures from the action plan (socket covers, safety hooks, smoke detectors, escape plan, first aid course) have been implemented on time. The childminder has knowledge of the reporting code for domestic violence and child abuse, and has arranged backup support for days with more than three children.
