About this care
At ZieZaZo, we offer high-quality childcare in a warm, safe and loving environment. Our small-scale groups ensure that every child receives the attention they deserve. We work with a unique pedagogical concept, inspired by the vision of Emmi Pikler, in which we give children the space to develop at their own pace.
Our locations feature spacious, bright childcare rooms and beautiful outdoor spaces where children can play and discover. We offer a wide range of activities, including structured learning, outdoor play, music and movement, arts and crafts, and language development. In addition, we provide healthy meals, nappies, and a safe environment with modern facilities such as a security system and air purification systems.
We work with horizontal groups, in which children of the same age are placed together. This enables us to tailor activities and care to the specific needs of each age group. Our staff are qualified and dedicated, and we offer flexible childcare options, including half days and a parent app for communication. At ZieZaZo, we strive to be a second home for your child, where they feel safe and loved.Read more

- Safety and health policy is up-to-date and accessible to parents and staff
- Parent committee is active and functioning well with 6 members
Violations
- The holder failed to promptly notify the municipality of the increase in childcare places (from 33 to 36); registration in the National Childcare Register (LRK) did not match actual practice
- The pedagogical policy plan lacked a description of maximum group sizes, staff rosters, and opening hours of the combination group
- The abbreviated child abuse protocol lacked a description of staff members' duty to report when suspecting abuse by the holder themselves, and did not mention the possibility of contacting the confidential inspector
Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspected BSO ZieZaZo Amersfoort on 17 February 2026, an after-school care (BSO) for a maximum of 36 children. The location is still in its startup phase and temporarily forms a combination group with the toddler group of the adjacent daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV). The report presents a mixed picture: three areas were compliant after recovery offer, while staff and groups and parental rights were compliant immediately. The pedagogical practice and staff qualifications are strong. Three violations were identified and resolved through recovery offer: failure to report the increased number of childcare places, missing group description in the pedagogical policy, and an incomplete child abuse protocol. The holder remedied all shortcomings within the deadline. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
