Childminder agency (gastouderbureau) YourKidZ at Home provides professional, trusted, and small-scale childminder care (gastouderopvang) for children aged 0 to 12 years. We provide care in a homely atmosphere, both at the childminder's home and at the parent's home. Our agency is affiliated with the Brancheorganisatie Kinderopvang and VGOB, and complies with all legal requirements of the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang). We are registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
We guide parents in finding a suitable childminder (gastouder) through a careful matching process including an intake interview, introduction, and placement meeting. Our placement staff are trained in pedagogy and offer personal guidance to both childminders and parents. We mainly operate in the Land van Heusden en Altena, Bommelerwaard and Gorinchem and surrounding areas.

We then carefully search for a childminder who is the best fit for your family, both in terms of personality and practical requirements.
Subsidy & costs
As a parent, you may be eligible for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). We refer you to the official website www.toeslagen.nl for more information about the conditions and application procedure. The benefit depends on your income, the number of children and the number of care hours. We advise you to enquire about the possibilities in good time and to apply for the benefit from the Tax and Customs Administration.
The costs for childminder care at YourKidZ at Home consist of three parts: a one-time registration fee of €50.00, monthly placement fees of €1.95 per hour per child (with a minimum of €40.00 and maximum of €85.00 per child per month), and the childminder's rate.
The childminder rate depends on the type of care chosen. For care at the childminder's home, the recommended rate is between €7 and €8.25 per child per hour. For care at the parent's home, we operate in accordance with the Domestic Services Act. Childminders are free to set their own rate within our recommended guidelines. Trust & screening
We carefully screen all childminders before they can start with us. Every childminder must have completed at least a secondary vocational level 2 (MBO niveau 2) care assistant qualification or equivalent. In addition, a valid first aid certificate for children is mandatory. Childminders are registered in the national childcare register and their care location is checked for safety and suitability.
We encourage childminders to pursue further training and also offer training ourselves. During the care period, we carry out home visits at least twice a year and conduct annual risk assessments to check whether the location still meets all legal requirements.
Childminder agency YourKidZ at Home complies with all legal requirements of the Childcare Act and is registered in the National Childcare Register. We are affiliated with the Childcare Trade Organisation and the Childcare Disputes Committee. Our placement staff are trained in pedagogy and we carry out regular quality checks.

Introduction meeting: We arrange a meeting between you and a suitable childminder, possibly with the children present. This conversation takes place at the care location.

Placement conversation: If you and the childminder wish to proceed, we organise a placement conversation with us present. Practical matters are discussed and agreements are recorded.

Follow-up: We visit the childminder at the care location at least twice a year. During these visits, we discuss how the children are doing and inform you of our findings.
