Summary

GGD Hart voor Brabant conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 29 June 2026 at after-school care (BSO) XXS Kinderopvang in Boekel. The location provides care for up to 43 children aged 4 to 13 years in the canteen of football club Boekel Sport. The facility meets the requirements for pedagogical climate, staff qualification requirements, safety and health policy, and child abuse reporting protocol. However, two violations were identified: staff are insufficiently familiar with the mandatory reporting, consultation, and filing obligations regarding suspected abuse, and the indoor play area is too small (only 2.3 m² per child, while 3.5 m² is required). Due to previous violations at licence holder level, no recovery offer was made. The GGD advises the municipality of Boekel to enforce.
