About this care
Welcome to BSO Wereldwijs, located at a unique location on Slochterenweg 27 in Arnhem. As part of SKAR (Foundation for Childcare Arnhem Rijn), we provide professional after-school care right in the heart of primary school Wereldwijs. This means children can seamlessly transition to a familiar and safe environment after school hours.
Our team of enthusiastic, committed and highly trained pedagogical staff is ready every day to give your child the personal attention they deserve. We believe every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Therefore, we tailor our activities and guidance to what your child needs.
We offer after-school care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from the end of the school day until 18:30. On Wednesday and Friday we start at 12:30, taking into account the early school closure. Morning care is available from 7:30 to 8:45, allowing parents with early work schedules to safely bring their child.
Our location features a fantastic natural outdoor space where children can romp, discover and play. We organize fun, varied and educational activities that connect with the world of experience of children aged 4 to 12. From sports and games to creative activities - there's always something to do at Wereldwijs.

- Staff encourage children to first try solving problems themselves, with a safety net always in place
- Wide variety of activities and play materials; children show engagement and enjoyment
- Intensive contact with parents through annual meetings and daily handovers
- Proactive approach to safety: following a child wandering off incident, measures were taken such as a smaller play area and clear agreements with children
- Good hygiene measures, including separate knives per spread and attention to allergies
- Clear protocol for iPad use: maximum 20 minutes per day, individual use only
- All staff and regular visitors correctly registered in the childcare persons register
