Our mediation is free of charge, and we personally guide you in finding a childminder (gastouder) who matches your wishes and situation. Parents only start paying when care actually begins.
Subsidy & costs
Wen's Gastouderbureau is a Childcare Benefit Service Provider (Toeslagen Dienstverlener) and has an agreement with the Tax and Customs Administration benefits department. We provide free advice on childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) and help with the application. Childcare benefit can also be applied for childminder care (gastouderopvang) and nanny care, provided the care is LRK-registered. The benefit is income-dependent and can be applied for both the childminder (gastouder) costs and the bureau costs.

Adult household members are also screened. We carry out annual risk assessments at the care locations and hold regular discussions with childminders (gastouders). The childminders (gastouders) are under continuous screening in the Childcare Persons Register (PersonenRegister Kinderopvang).
