About this care
PSG Oranje Nassau is a small-scale playgroup in the centre of Sliedrecht, located on the grounds of CBS Oranje Nassau at Merwestraat 16. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. As an early-education (VE) site we place extra emphasis on language development and lay a solid foundation for primary school. Through play, children discover the world: we work in themes, offer challenging activities and foster independence and social skills. Wasko Oranje Nassau PSG is a toddler playgroup (peuterspeelgroep/PSG) in Sliedrecht for 16 children aged 2–4 years. The inspection of 11 December 2025 shows a positive pedagogical climate with a relaxed, open atmosphere in which staff respond warmly and supportively to children. Early childhood education and staffing matters are well organized. However, one serious shortcoming was identified in the area of hand hygiene, with this being a repeat finding (recidive). A staff member failed to replace the changing mat between diaper changes, did not wash their hands, and wore jewelry. This is the second time this topic has been identified as a shortcoming. The provider acknowledges the problem and states they will discuss this again in group meetings.
