Wasko Het Zwaluwnest KDV

We are KDV Het Zwaluwnest, a brand-new daycare centre run by Wasko Childcare at Beatrixstraat 1a in the heart of Groot-Ammers. Since our official opening in April 2023 we provide care for up to 16 children aged 0–4 in a homely, small-scale setting. Our centre is temporarily housed in the former health clinic, which has been fully renovated and fitted out with creative and educational play materials. Everything we do is built on recognising what your child needs: good care combined with loving attention. For the very youngest (0–1 year) we work with baby specialists who closely monitor each baby’s individual needs. Toddlers and pre-schoolers are given every opportunity to explore on their own. We offer age-appropriate activities such as crafts, circle-time games, music-making and playing with peers. Our pedagogical staff provide challenging toys and creative materials that match your child’s stage of development. Themes change regularly so there is always something new to discover. We believe in a warm, safe environment where children can flourish. Parents appreciate the personal contact and the short lines of communication with our staff. In the future we will move to the new Broad School Groot-Ammers, where—together with the playgroup and out-of-school care—we will offer a continuous learning path from childcare to primary school under one roof. Until then, we warmly welcome you to our current, cosy location on Beatrixstraat.
