Wasko Het Kwetternest KC BSO

BSO De Spettertuin is part of Wasko Het Kwetternest, located in the same building as OBS Het Tweespan and CBS De Hoeksteen at Schoolstraat 2 in Giessenburg. We provide after-school care specifically for children in grades 1 and 2. In this familiar environment, children are given space to play, discover and grow in a way that suits their age and development. Our pedagogical staff work from a positive approach: we focus on what a child can do. This builds self-confidence and creates space for play, creativity and development. The activities are playful, meaningful and fun, with full attention to the social and emotional development of the child. Thanks to close cooperation with OBS Het Tweespan and CBS De Hoeksteen, communication lines are short and the transition is familiar. For children from grade 3 onwards, Sport BSO De Giessenhal is often a suitable next step. However, this transition is not automatic and is carefully coordinated with parents, taking into account the child's developmental needs. Parents stay involved through the Parent App, which provides photos, updates and practical information about their child's experiences.
