Summary
IKC de Kikker is an early childhood education center with two groups in Amsterdam that operate half-day sessions. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 22 May 2026. The location meets all quality requirements in the areas of pedagogical climate, personnel, safety and health, and early childhood education. Staff stimulate children's personal development through singing, counting, and theme-based work using the Piramide program. There is a relaxed atmosphere in which children feel emotionally safe. Cooperation with the adjacent primary schools is going well. The training plan could be described more concretely; this was discussed with the location manager. No violations were identified and no recovery offer (herstelaanbod) was made.
