About this care
Welcome to BSO Vossenburcht, part of KION childcare. We are located at Dr. Kuyperstraat 2 in the Hatert district of Nijmegen, on the same premises as primary school De Vossenburcht. Our after-school care facility provides care for up to 22 children aged 4 to 12.
After school, we always start the afternoon with a healthy snack: fresh fruit and a glass of lemonade. Afterwards, there is plenty of room for relaxation, play and development. We work from our core values of passion, trust and involvement. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to provide the children with a safe and challenging environment in which they can develop.
As a parent, you can come to us for both before-school and after-school care. We are officially registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) under number 188463513 since 25 April 2022. More information about registration and our working method can be found at www.kion.nl.Read more

The after-school care (BSO) accommodates up to 22 children aged 4 to 12 years and shares the building with primary school De Vossenburcht. The annual inspection showed that the location meets all inspected quality requirements. The pedagogical practice was assessed positively: staff ensure emotional safety, offer varied activities, guide social development, and maintain clear rules. There was also full compliance in areas such as administration, staff qualifications, staff-child ratio, and parent communication. In the preceding years 2024 and 2025 there were recovery offer matters (mentor assignment and pedagogical policy), but these have since been completed and resolved.
