About this care
Voorschool Frankendael is a preschool for children aged 2 to 4 years, located at Hogeweg 61 in Amsterdam. As part of Dynamo, we provide preschool education where children playfully prepare for primary school. Our pedagogical staff guide your toddler in developing motor, social, emotional and cognitive skills.
We work with a fixed daily program of 5 hours and 20 minutes per day, during which we count together, do puzzles, talk, move and discover. Through changing themes, various fun and interesting topics are covered. We believe it's important that toddlers learn and develop, but also that they can simply enjoy being a child.
Our preschool is open 5 days a week and offers a safe environment where children can grow from their own experiential world. We stimulate the imagination and self-confidence of each child, with personal attention being paramount.Read more

Summary
Voorschool Frankendael is a small-scale preschool for a maximum of 15 children aged 2-4, located within primary school Frankendael in Amsterdam. The location offers 5 half-days per week of preschool education following the Uk & Puk programme. The permanent team of two staff members (one of whom holds a bachelor's degree) has worked together for many years, is trained in Early Childhood Education (VVE), and provides children with emotional security, language-rich activities and guidance in social interactions. The space is arranged thematically, parents are actively involved through themed booklets, parent-child activities and twice-yearly development meetings. Cooperation with the primary school is well organised, including a warm handover and aligned themes. All staff hold the correct diplomas, VVE certificates and meet the language requirement. No violations or areas for improvement were identified; all statutory quality requirements are met.
