About this care
Voorschool de Tamboerijn 1 is located at Reigersbos 301 in Amsterdam Zuidoost and is part of Stichting Swazoom Kinderopvang. We provide preschool education (VE) for children aged 2 to 4 years in a small-scale setting with a maximum of 16 children per day. Our preschool works closely with primary school De Tamboerijn, allowing us to offer a continuous learning path from preschool to primary education.
We are open Monday through Friday from 08:45 to 14:05. Our qualified pedagogical staff specialize in preschool education and focus on language development and learning important skills such as independence through play. We provide a safe and stimulating environment where each child can develop at their own pace.
Parents can apply for childcare allowance for our preschool. We are registered in the National Childcare Register under number 152616779 and meet all national quality requirements. The GGD supervises our quality.

Summary
Voorschool De Tamboerijn provides half-day care with preschool education for up to 16 children aged 2-4 years. The inspection on 3 April 2025 concludes that all statutory quality requirements are met. The pedagogical climate is assessed positively: children experience emotional safety, there is attention for language development and self-reliance, and thematic working (theme 'spring') is clearly visible in activities and the environment. Staff hold the correct diplomas, VVE certificates and meet the language requirement. The VVE program Piramide is applied consistently, development is monitored using the KIJK! system, and parents are actively involved through play sessions, theme booklets and parent-child activities. Cooperation with primary school De Tamboerijn is arranged through consultations 8 times per year and a warm handover. Safety and health policy is adhered to, including correct handwashing. The accommodation is spacious, safe and age-appropriately furnished with various play corners and theme materials. No violations or areas for improvement were identified.
