About this care
Voorschool De Speeltol is a small-scale preschool in Rossum, part of childcare organisation ’t Veldmuisje. We are located inside primary school De Bogerd, right next to the early-years classes. This setting makes the move from toddler to pupil almost seamless: two steps and you are already in group 1-2.
We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Children attend either in the morning or on three afternoons each week. We follow the recognised Uk & Puk programme, in which language, numeracy and social skills are offered through play. Our experienced pedagogical staff, Berga and Jeanny, create a safe, homely atmosphere in which every child has room to grow.
The space is carefully furnished with natural materials that spark curiosity. We have our own outdoor area and also use the school playground. In addition, the toddlers enjoy weekly music and movement sessions run by specialist teachers from De Bogerd. Fruit, drinks and a healthy bread meal are included; accommodating allergies is a matter of course for us.

Voorschool De Speeltol in Rossum is a daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for up to 16 children aged 2-4 that also provides early childhood education (VE). The Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 27 March 2025 and concludes that the location meets all assessed quality requirements. No violations were identified and no areas for improvement were indicated. The pedagogical practice is positive: staff provide emotional safety, tailor their approach to individual children, and work thematically according to the Uk & Puk early education program. Parents are actively involved through newsletters and a parent app. The premises are spacious, safe and appropriately designed.
