The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report of 24 February 2026 for daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Villa Veentjes, location Villa de Bogerd in Rossum, presents a predominantly positive picture. The location provides care for a maximum of 16 children aged 1 to 4 years and delivers subsidised early childhood education (VVE) using the Pyramid programme. The pedagogical quality, VVE implementation, accommodation, staff qualifications, and parent information all meet the requirements. One violation was identified in the area of safety and health: hands were washed after nappy changing in the kitchen sink rather than at a separate sanitary facility, contrary to the location's own protocol and RIVM guidelines. Following a recovery offer with a deadline of 27 March 2026, the location was revisited on 12 March 2026. The shortcomings were remedied by placing disinfectant at the changing table, using the child washbasin for hand hygiene, strict separation of kitchen and sanitary functions, and visible work instructions. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
