This inspection report concerns an investigation for registration of childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) by Ms Vollenberg-Weijs at Gastendonkstraat 39 in Horst. The host parent cares for her four grandchildren (ages 5, 8, 9 and 11) from Thursday through Sunday. The investigation was conducted on 14 August 2024 by Municipal Health Service (GGD) Limburg-Noord on behalf of the municipality of Horst aan de Maas. Both the childcare location and the host parent meet all assessed requirements under the Childcare Act. No violations were identified. The host parent holds all required diplomas and certificates, including a valid first aid certificate until February 2026. The home is smoke-free and has sufficient indoor and outdoor play space. A risk assessment was drawn up on 26 July 2024. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises that the host parent be included in the national childcare register.
