About this care
Welcome to Okidoki Leeuwerik 9, our large facility in Kwintsheul where all childcare services are united under one roof. We provide daycare for children aged 0-4 years and toddler care for children aged 2-4 years. Our facility is directly adjacent to primary school Andreashof, allowing us to build a unique partnership. Through an interconnecting door, our oldest toddlers regularly visit the kindergarten classes to play or say hello. This creates a smooth transition from toddler to primary education, in collaboration with the school's internal supervisor.
Our facility features 2 daycare groups for 0-2 years, 2 daycare groups for 2-4 years, and 1 toddler group for 2-4 years. We work with a horizontal group structure, where children are cared for in age groups. Through years of collaboration between staff and children, a close bond develops and a familiar "we-know-each-other" feeling emerges. Almost all children in Kwintsheul attend primary school Andreashof, creating a warm community.
Our opening hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. For early birds, early care is also available from 7:00 AM. Toddler care is open from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. We have been officially registered since January 1, 2010 with LRK number 106585265, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
