Summary

Inspection report dated 12 January 2026 for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) Ruiter at Klaprooslaan 14 in Hoevelaken. This concerns a registration investigation for the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang), conducted by Veiligheids- en Gezondheidsregio Gelderland Midden on behalf of the municipality of Nijkerk. The childminder provides care at the requesting parent's home address, arranged through Chr. GOB Pompidoe Putten, on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school for three children aged 7, 7 and 9. All examined areas meet the statutory requirements: general terms and conditions, pedagogical climate, requirements for the childminder, accommodation, and safety and health. The pedagogical practice was not directly observed as the childcare had not yet commenced, but good practice is expected based on the interview. There were several minor safety points related to renovation work (smoke detector in utility room, stair railing, cellar door); the smoke detector has since been installed. The remaining points were assessed as not posing an acute risk given the ages of the children. No violations were identified and no recovery offer was made.
