Welkom Kind Lelystad works according to the legal requirements for childminder care (gastouderopvang). Our childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang/LRK) and are regularly inspected by the municipal health service (GGD). We apply the child abuse reporting code and offer training to childminders on safety and pedagogy. Parents can view the GGD inspection report online via the National Childcare Register.

At Gastouderland, you'll find small-scale childminder care (gastouderopvang) in a homely atmosphere. Your child is cared for by a regular childminder, creating a sense of familiarity and personal attention. All our childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register, so you are entitled to childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag). You'll be assigned a personal consultant who lives in your region and will guide you in finding a suitable childminder who matches your needs. Childminder care is flexible, and you only pay for the hours you actually use.

Gastouderland has nationwide coverage with 23 locations throughout the Netherlands. Each location works regionally and has a large pool of qualified childminders in the area. Our consultants live and work in your region, so you always have personal contact with someone who knows the local situation. We are active in all provinces and major cities of the Netherlands.

Gastouderland meets all requirements of the Childcare Act and is inspected annually by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). All childminders are registered in the National Childcare Register (LRK) and the Childcare Personnel Register (PRK). Childminders and household members hold a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). Care locations are checked annually for safety and hygiene through risk assessments. We have an internal and external complaints procedure and are a member of the Disputes Committee.
