Summary
During an unannounced incidental inspection on 11 May 2026 at childminder Davita van den Brink in Kootwijkerbroek, two violations were identified that were resolved through a recovery offer. Regarding the pedagogical climate, the childminder responded insufficiently to children's signals, showed limited awareness of their autonomy, and did not always meet their needs. The youngest child received insufficient attention. In terms of safety and health, TV cables were not concealed, the childminder changed children without a changing mat, and did not always wash her hands after nappy changes. She was also unaware of where the fire blanket was located. Following a recovery offer with additional guidance from the childminder agency, the location was re-inspected on 15 June 2026. All shortcomings have been resolved. The remaining areas (requirements for the childminder, accommodation, reporting code) were compliant from the outset. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
