GGD Amsterdam conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 20 January 2026 at VesperCare - Wending/Schakel, an after-school care (BSO) in Amstelveen for up to 10 children aged 4 to 13 years with additional care needs. The location has been operated since 1 July 2025, following its acquisition from Ons Tweede Thuis. All inspected quality requirements are met. The staff create an emotionally safe environment, are well acquainted with the target group, and work in accordance with the pedagogical policy. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The GGD advises that the report be received for information purposes by the municipal executive board.
