Summary
GGD Amsterdam conducted an unannounced annual inspection on 14 April 2026 at Vespercare - De Dolfijn, an after-school care (BSO+) facility for up to 10 children aged 4-12 with additional care needs in Uithoorn. The location, opened on 21 October 2025, was taken over from Ons Tweede Thuis. The staff know the children well and provide emotionally safe care with attention to self-reliance and social skills. One violation was identified: a staff member did not hold the required qualification. The holder received a recovery offer and drew up an action plan whereby the staff member has been enrolled in additional training and will not be deployed in a formative capacity until then. The violation has thereby been resolved. The GGD advises that no measures be imposed.
