Summary

GGD Flevoland conducted an unannounced follow-up inspection on 22 September 2025 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Ut Kuukediefien Peuterspelen in Urk. The KDV provides early childhood education (voorschoolse educatie/VE) to a maximum of 32 children aged 2-4 years. Of the five previously identified shortcomings, three have been sufficiently resolved: the outdoor play area has been calculated at 243 m² (sufficient for 80 places), all staff are correctly registered in the Childcare Personnel Register (Personenregister Kinderopvang/PRK), and knowledge of reporting and disclosure obligations is in order. The two remaining violations concern (partially) not yet working fully in accordance with VE policy (insufficient individual one-to-one guidance) and a VE training plan that is still too general (missing concrete dates and links to all five VE requirements). The location received no recovery offer; the GGD advises the municipality not to enforce at this time and to reassess these points during the annual inspection in 2026, also because a new VE pedagogical coach has recently started who is to guide further implementation.
