Summary
UniKidz Hamerkwartier is a preschool daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) located in primary school De Kinderboom, with one core group for children aged 2 to 4. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) investigated on 30 June 2025 whether the location could safely expand from 15 to 16 childcare places. The report concludes that the expansion may proceed: the spaces (49 m² + 65 m² indoors, a shared learning plaza, and sufficient outdoor space) are large enough, the pedagogical policy is in order, and no additional staff is required. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality is advised to approve the change request and register the new capacity in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
