Summary

BSO Troubadour in Utrecht, part of Stichting Kind & Co Ludens, was inspected on 20 March 2026 following a self-reported notification by the provider. Due to a fire, several rooms were temporarily unusable, requiring the after-school care (BSO) to use other spaces in the school and, on a structural basis, the gymnasium and canteen of sports association De Halter for the 7+ groups. The inspection assessed the domains of pedagogical climate, safety and health, and accommodation. The location, with 129 childcare places, meets all assessed quality requirements. The pedagogical policy plan and safety policy have been updated to reflect the temporary situation. Risks of external spaces have been assessed, staff members have been informed, and backup cover is arranged through the adjacent daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV). The indoor space of 497.6 m² (3.86 m² per child) and outdoor space of 1,726 m² meet the requirements.
