Summary

Trem a Kinderopvang Wijk en Aalburg Perzikstraat is an after-school care (BSO) for up to 20 children aged 4 to 13, located in the Willem van Oranje College. This unannounced follow-up inspection on 4 March 2026 focused on the parent committee, following a violation during the annual inspection on 23 June 2025. At that time, it was found that there was no parent committee and parents were also not sufficiently involved in other ways in matters where they have advisory rights. In this follow-up inspection, the provider demonstrated that since October 2025 they have been actively approaching parents through newsletters, the parent portal, intake interviews, and an invitation to a meet-and-greet evening. Two advisory questions have also been put to parents regarding a fee adjustment and the protocol for use of digital media. The inspector concludes that the provider now meets the legal requirements by demonstrably involving parents sufficiently through alternative means, while the possibility of participating in a parent committee remains open.
