About this care
Welcome to TremaKids After-School Care Nieuwendijk Hasselmanstraat, a brand-new building with a large green outdoor area where children aged 4 to 13 can safely play and explore after school. Our after-school care opens right after school ends and remains open until 18:15; extended care is available until 18:30. During school holidays we welcome children from 07:15 to 18:15.
Starting 1 September 2025 we will also offer after-school care on Wednesdays, giving parents and children even more flexibility and continuity in a familiar and secure environment. We have 40 after-school places and are officially registered under LRK number 632960528.
Our location is at Hasselmanstraat 1 in Nieuwendijk, within walking distance of primary school De Regenboog. The spacious green playground invites children to climb, cycle and romp, while inside quiet corners and creative spaces allow them to relax or discover new things. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to give every child a warm welcome and guide them in their development.

Trem a Kinderopvang Nieuwendijk Hasselmanstraat is an after-school care (BSO) for up to 44 children (ages 4–13) in Nieuwendijk, part of Stichting Trem a Kinderopvang. At the annual inspection on 20 October 2025, the location met the requirements for pedagogical climate, safety and health, and parent rights. However, a violation was identified regarding 'stability of care for children': the administration was not specific enough about which base group was a child's own group and which was the second group, and for which period consent was valid. The provider was given a recovery offer with a deadline of 17 December 2025. On 16 December 2025, the violation was resolved through adjustments to the parent portal and administration. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises the municipality of Altena not to enforce, as the violation has been resolved.
