About this care
Running, cycling, and chalking on the pavement. Wonderful outdoor play. It's so important for every child. At Kinderdagverblijf Toverkunst, we believe that playing outside should be easy and safe. An enclosed section of our outdoor space is accessible from all of our groups.
There's so much to do and discover outside. What does the wind do? We investigate this by walking around with a sandwich bag on a stick. Playing and exploring go hand in hand.
Every child is unique and develops at their own pace. That's nothing new, but it's absolutely true. It's beautiful to see a child learn something new and enjoy it. A difficult puzzle that finally succeeds, the crusts of a sandwich that can be eaten too, budding friendships that form.
We notice that the children really enjoy moving up to the toddler group. Every child grows and enjoys new challenges. A different layout, new peers, preparations for primary school. Simply feeling 'grown up'.
Every Thursday, the oldest children have an English lesson. A native speaker from primary school Passe-Partout leads this lesson. Together with the children, she sings songs and reads books. Before you know it, your child will know the colours in Dutch and in English.
Our location is within walking distance of Nesselande beach, the library, and a shopping centre. We regularly visit the children's farm de Blijde Wei. Kinderdagverblijf Toverkunst has a large car park. Nesselande metro station is within walking distance.
Kinderdagverblijf Toverkunst works together with primary school Passe-Partout and the Tangram. The Centre for Youth and Family is located opposite our location. We regularly collaborate with daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Kleinkunst and daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Kunstenmakers. For example, when we jointly offer judo lessons or conclude a theme together.
We would love for you to come and meet us. Will you call or email us to make an appointment?
