Welcome to Topkids BSO Soesterberg, located at Christiaan Huygenslaan 4 in the heart of Soesterberg. We are the place where children unwind after school and recharge. Our after-school care is open Monday to Friday until 18:30 and partners with St. Carolusschool, Startbaan, and Postiljon. We pick up the children personally, so parents can work with peace of mind.
At Topkids, the child is at the center. We offer a warm, homely environment where children choose what they want to do. Whether they want to play, build, craft, or join one of our exciting workshops — anything is possible. We regularly organize challenging activities and excursions tailored to the world of children aged 4 to 12.
Our pedagogical staff are professional, caring, and work from a child-centered approach. We believe every child is unique and give them space to discover, grow, and have fun. Summary
On 23 June 2026, the Municipal Health Service (GGD) conducted an unannounced incidental inspection at Topkids after-school care (BSO) Soesterberg. The inspection took place in the context of an application to expand the number of childcare places from 44 to 46, following the takeover by Stichting Bink o.g. All examined domains – general quality conditions and compliance, pedagogical climate, and premises – meet the legal requirements. The holder reported the change to the municipality in a timely manner. The pedagogical policy is described in concrete terms, including age groupings, group size, and staffing allocation. The indoor space (209.7 m²) and outdoor space (1450 m²) are more than adequate for the intended 46 children. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The GGD advises the municipality of Soest to grant the request for amendment in the National Childcare Register (Landelijk Register Kinderopvang).
