About this care
Welcome to PO Tjoeke Tjoek, our toddler care centre in the heart of Born. We are part of the MIK & Spelenderwijs Child Development Foundation and provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4. With us, play and learning go hand in hand. Through the Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme we focus on language development, self-confidence and social skills. Our small-scale groups create a calm and clear environment, ensuring every child receives the attention they deserve. We work with horizontal groups, allowing children to play and grow with peers of the same age. Parents can opt for half-day care, tailored to the needs of the child and the family.Read more

Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) inspection report dated 29 April 2026 concerns a further investigation at toddler care (peuteropvang) PO Tjoeke Tjoek in Born. This investigation specifically focused on the shortcomings previously identified during the annual inspection of 21 January 2026, particularly regarding Certificates of Good Conduct (Verklaringen Omtrent het Gedrag/VOG) and the childcare persons register. The inspection consisted of document review and email correspondence with the location manager. The sample check showed that all required individuals are now correctly registered in the persons register and linked to the licence holder. The previously identified shortcomings have been fully resolved. The location currently meets all assessed quality requirements. The recommendation for enforcement is withdrawn.
