Thuishuis Bellefleur in Appingedam, a small-scale daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) for a maximum of 26 children (ages 0–4), was inspected by GGD Groningen on 23 June 2026. The unannounced post-registration inspection showed that the location meets the statutory quality requirements on virtually all counts. The pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, and accommodation were all found to be satisfactory. There is a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere in which children feel emotionally safe and are sufficiently challenged in their development. One violation was identified in the area of parental rights: the inspection report was not properly accessible via the website due to a non-working link. The provider made use of the recovery offer and has since resolved the shortcoming by informing parents through the newsletter and fixing the problem on the new website.
