About this care
Welcome to Teun Kinderopvang, located at Darthuizerberg 69 in Amersfoort. As part of Kinderopvang Natuurlijk, we have been offering small-scale, homely childcare since 2010 for children aged 3 months to 4 years. We believe children thrive best in a familiar environment where love, attention, and nature experiences are central.
Our daycare centre uses horizontal groups: two baby groups and two toddler/preschool groups. Each group has its own age-appropriate room and private garden. The youngest can nap safely outdoors while toddlers explore a garden full of movement challenges. We go outside every day – regardless of the weather – using our spacious gardens, vegetable patch, and chickens. Children help with planting, harvesting, and caring for the animals, learning respect for nature and each other from an early age.
We value calm, structure, and security. That’s why we work with consistent pedagogical staff and maintain a clear daily routine. We offer no performance pressure, just space to discover and experience. Music, crafts, outdoor play, and gardening are part of our regular activities. Complete care is included: premium brand nappies, formula, seasonal fruit, and all care products. Parents don’t need to bring anything.

Summary
The annual inspection of 13 January 2026 at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Teun Kinderopvang in Amersfoort presents an overall positive picture. The location meets the requirements for pedagogical climate, personnel, and groups. In the area of safety and health, compliance was achieved following a recovery offer. The pedagogical practice is characterized by warm, responsive interactions and good child wellbeing. One violation was identified: three of the three childcare professionals interviewed were found to be unaware of the mandatory reporting, consultation, and filing obligations (MOA) regarding suspected abuse by colleagues or the holder. Following a recovery offer, the holder carried out an extensive action plan with additional attention for the MOA in training and meetings. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) advises no enforcement action.
