About this care
Welcome to daycare 't Kreekeltje, located at Lindenlaan 12 in Westdorpe. As part of Natuurkidz, we provide small-scale childcare for up to 8 children aged 0 to 4 years. In our homely environment, your child's individuality takes center stage.
We believe every child is unique with their own character and developmental pace. Therefore, we offer a challenging environment with age-appropriate materials that stimulate children's curiosity and creativity. Our pedagogical staff encourage children to make choices and develop independence, with fun being the priority.
At 't Kreekeltje, children can be themselves and develop into independent individuals who can make their own choices. We provide security and safety in which children can develop their personal and social qualities. Our fixed team of staff forms a familiar daily foundation for your child.
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. As part of the Westdorpe child center initiative, we work intensively with primary school de Kreeke, contributing to strong childcare facilities in Westdorpe.Read more

Summary
GGD Zeeland inspected daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) 't Kreekeltje in Westdorpe on 13 November 2025. The pedagogical practice, staff qualifications, and group setup meet the standards: children experience emotional security, staff are well-trained, and the required pedagogical policy staff are present. However, three violations were identified. The operator failed to promptly report changes (BSO closure, group size) to the LRK, the current pedagogical policy no longer aligns with actual practice, and as a result parents receive incomplete information. Following the recovery offer, the complaints procedure has now been made visible, but the violations regarding changes and pedagogical policy have not yet been resolved. The GGD advises the municipality of Terneuzen to take enforcement action.
