About this care
Peuterspeelzaal ’t Ankertje is located in the village centre ’t Anker at Otto Zomerweg 1 in Hollandscheveld. We provide care for children aged 2 to 4 years during two morning sessions: 08:45 – 12:45 or 08:45 – 13:45. Our playgroup is part of Stichting Peuterspeelzaal ’t Ankertje and cooperates closely with Spelerwijs Hoogeveen.
At our facility toddlers can play, explore and develop in a safe, homely environment. We work in small, horizontal groups so that every child receives the attention they deserve. Our pedagogical staff offer challenging activities that connect with the world of young children and prepare them for primary school.

Summary
GGD Drenthe conducted an unannounced inspection of daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) 't Ankertje (Stichting Spelerwijs) in Hollandscheveld on 9 October 2025. The location provides regulated pre-school education for up to 31 children aged 2–4 years in two core groups. All assessed quality domains – pedagogical climate, staff and groups, safety and health, accommodation and parental rights – meet statutory requirements. The pedagogical policy is current and staff work according to it, the safety and health policy is complete, and a first-aid-qualified adult is always present. Pre-school education is embedded in policy, offers at least 960 hours over 1.5 years, uses the Uk & Puk 2.0 method, maintains a 1:8 supervision ratio, and all involved childcare professionals hold the correct diplomas, certificates and language proficiency level 3F. A pedagogical policy officer is structurally deployed for quality enhancement. Certificates of Good Conduct (VOG) are present and registered, staff are registered in the childcare persons register in a timely manner. Parents are informed via website, intake, newsletters and parent portal; there is an active parent committee and an adequate complaints procedure. No complaints were received in 2024. The holder is affiliated with the Childcare Disputes Committee. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. Hoogeveen municipality is advised not to take enforcement measures.
