About this care
Welcome to Struikrovers, our after-school care location at Julianalaan 1 in Arnhem. We are part of the Stichting Kinderopvang Arnhem en Regio (SKAR) and provide out-of-school care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our team of enthusiastic and highly trained pedagogical staff is ready every day to offer your child a safe and stimulating environment after school.
At Struikrovers, we believe it is important that every child can develop at his or her own pace. We therefore offer a wide range of fun, varied and educational activities that match the interests and developmental needs of the children. Our large and safe natural outdoor space invites play and discovery, both in groups and individually.
We work closely with the primary schools in the area to ensure a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Our location is easily accessible and we have plenty of space for relaxation, play and development. Our goal is to contribute to your child's development in a way that suits his or her unique personality.

BSO Struikrovers in Arnhem provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 44 children aged 4-13 years on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The inspection of 2 October 2025 concludes that the location meets all statutory quality requirements. The pedagogical policy is clear and well implemented by the team. All employees hold the correct diplomas and certificates, are registered in the persons register, and the staff-child ratio is in order. There are three fixed core groups, each with their own mentor, which provides stability. The indoor and outdoor play areas are more than adequate (160 m² indoors, fenced outdoor playground adjacent to Angerenstein park) and safely designed. One person is certified in first aid. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The municipality is advised not to take enforcement steps.
