About this care
Stichting Kinderopvang Mariadonk (SKM) is a daycare center located at Hoefstraat 13 in the village of Zegge, North Brabant. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is part of the Integrated Child Center (IKC) Mariadonk, allowing children to grow up in one place from baby to primary school age.
At SKM, the individual development of each child is central. Our professional and enthusiastic team creates a safe and cozy atmosphere in which children can develop optimally. We offer flexible childcare that aligns with parents' working hours. You have no mandatory weekly hours with us and pay per half hour instead of per day part.
Our daycare center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. We offer various forms of care: regular care, flexible care, and incidental care. There are no registration or enrollment fees, and we also do not charge for settling-in days.
SKM is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 186154094 and provides pre-school education (VE). This means we work on developing language, math, and social skills to properly prepare children for primary school. Parents can apply for childcare allowance for our services.

Summary
On 18 May 2026, GGD West-Brabant carried out an unannounced follow-up inspection at daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) Stichting Kinderopvang Mariadonk in Zegge. This inspection followed violations identified on 27 January 2026. At this follow-up inspection, the location meets all assessed legal requirements regarding safety and health and accommodation. The previous violations concerned the absence of an adequate safety and health policy and unsafe, unhygienic indoor spaces with dust, dirty toilets, sharp components, outdated water tables with mold, and an outdated sink. The operator has implemented the necessary improvements: the policy has been updated and discussed, cleaning schedules have been expanded, the spaces have been thoroughly cleaned, sharp components have been removed, water tables have been removed, and the sink has been refurbished. However, the supervisor has expressed concerns about the future due to the operator's history.
