As an officially recognised childminder agency (gastouderbureau), we match parents with professional childminders who care for children in their own home environment. Our placement coordinators guide parents in finding the perfect match and support childminders with training and professional development. We operate in Almere, Lelystad and Zeewolde and offer flexible childcare options, including evening, weekend and overnight care. Our placement coordinators discuss your wishes and needs in detail, after which we begin the search for a childminder who suits your situation. The childminders offer a familiar care setting where your child feels completely at home, with a familiar face every day in a warm, homely atmosphere. We maintain regular contact and hold evaluations at fixed intervals to ensure quality.
Subsidy & costs
As a registered childcare institution, you are eligible for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) from the Tax and Customs Administration. The maximum hourly rate for childminder care for 2026 eligible for reimbursement is €8.49. You can apply for childcare benefit digitally via Mijn toeslagen. We are happy to help you with the application and can also have the benefit paid directly into our account, so you only receive a net invoice. In case of unemployment, you are entitled to childcare benefit for up to 3 months after termination of employment.
The costs for childminder care consist of two parts: the payment to the childminder and fixed guidance fees to GO! Kinderopvang. Monthly fixed guidance fees are €39.83 for the 1st child, €30.38 for the 2nd child, and €20.93 for the 3rd and subsequent children. Childminders set their own hourly rate, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Recommended hourly rates for 2026: daytime care (7am-7pm) €8.49, evening/weekend €9.85, public holidays €11.31, overnight care €29.72. Additionally, there are incidental costs for meals (according to NIBUD guidelines) and any travel expenses.
Trust & screening
Our screening process for childminders is thorough and follows legal requirements. First, we conduct an intake interview and a home visit. The childminder must meet all quality requirements of the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang). After registration with the municipality, a GGD inspection follows at the care address. Only after this extensive selection procedure does the municipality approve registration in the National Childcare Register (LRK). All our childminders are LRK-registered.
GO! Kinderopvang is an officially recognised and registered non-profit organisation. All childminders are LRK-registered and must meet the quality requirements set by the Childcare Act (Wet Kinderopvang). Before a childminder starts working with us, they undergo an extensive selection procedure including an intake interview, home visit, and GGD (municipal health service) check. The municipality approves registration in the National Childcare Register after this procedure. We are affiliated with the National Childcare Register, and our GGD reports are publicly available.

Within GO! Kinderopvang, the pedagogical policy is described in the Oranje Paraplu. For childminder care (gastouderopvang), we have developed a specific pedagogical work plan based on 13 pedagogical principles. These focus on optimal development across various developmental domains: social-emotional, language and speech, motor skills, and attention and concentration. The childminder (gastouder) offers opportunities within which the child can develop, tailored to the child's age and developmental level.

GGD Flevoland conducted an annual inspection on 18 August 2026 at childminder/host parent agency (gastouderbureau) Stichting GO! in Lelystad.
