Welcome to Stichting Christelijke Peuterspeelzaal ‘Prinses Amalia’, located at Margrietweg 6 in the heart of Ouddorp. We are a Christian playgroup organisationally linked to the local School with the Bible, Koningin Beatrix. Our work is founded on the eternal, unchanging Word of God, and both board and staff seek daily guidance from these principles.
We provide a safe, familiar play environment for children aged 2½ to 4, where they can explore, play and grow together with peers. Our playgroup forms an independent pedagogical setting that complements and enriches life at home. Through play we create optimal developmental opportunities by offering varied and age-appropriate activities. Our goal is simple: to broaden every young child’s world and make a valuable contribution to his or her development.
Christian identity is central at Prinses Amalia. We celebrate the festivals of the church year, sing Bible stories and pray together. These values foster a warm, secure atmosphere in which every child is free to be themselves. Summary
The Municipal Health Service (GGD) annual inspection of 26 February 2026 at toddler playgroup Prinses Amalia in Ouddorp shows that the location now meets all inspected quality requirements. During the previous inspection in June 2025, there was a violation of the duty to report, consult and file charges: staff were unaware that they were required to file a police report when suspecting abuse by the provider. Following a recovery offer and a warning from the municipality, this has been remedied. Staff have now completed training and the procedure has been visibly posted. The toddler playgroup offers pre-school education according to the Bas in de klas method, with good parent involvement and a clear daily structure.
