Welcome to daycare center Boerderij de Balije! A unique childcare location in a monumental farmhouse with thatched roof and original beams. Our small-scale daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) is spread across different floors and offers plenty of space for discovery and adventure. We have two groups for children aged 0 to 3 years and one toddler group for children aged 2 to 4 years. The location features many windows and sliding doors for transparency, charming stable windows, different levels with small staircases and high ceilings. We are situated next to a playground with plenty of grassy fields surrounding the building. We participate in activities such as Mud Day, Sustainability Day, Children's Book Week, local evening four-day marches, Lintwurmpie sponsored walk, Reading Days and Pancake Day.Read more
