About this care
Spot4kids KDV Cabauw is located within the Gerardus Majella school building at Cabauwsekade 51A in Lopik. We provide professional childcare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our facility has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since December 1, 2016, under number 108874060.

We provide preschool education (VE), through which we stimulate your child's development from an early age. Our approach focuses on creating positive attention for each child, taking into account their unique character and individual development pace.

Summary
Spot4kids KDV Cabauw is a toddler daycare center (kinderdagverblijf/KDV) in Lopik for a maximum of 16 children aged 2 to 4 years, located in a school building. The annual inspection on 12 May 2026 shows a mixed picture. The location meets requirements in the domain of staff and groups, but not in pedagogical climate, safety and health, and accommodation. Two recovery offers were made for the media policy (FM radio during childcare) and early education (developmental areas and room layout), both of which were successfully resolved. A serious violation concerns the outdoor space: the fence is too low in multiple places, allowing toddlers to climb over it. This led to an incident in which two children climbed over the fence. In addition, a BBL student was deployed in a formative role in the early education (VE) group without the required diploma and language level. The outdoor space shortcoming was not suitable for a recovery offer because definitive adjustments will only be completed in mid-October 2026.
