About this care
Sportstuif Cuijk is the premier sports-oriented after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, located at the SIOL football club grounds on Sportlaan 3 in Cuijk. Our indoor space is the SIOL canteen, where children can relax, read, draw or build, and where we share our eating and drinking moment together. Outside, we have several sports fields that we use every day for a wide range of sports and games.
Our mission is straightforward: broaden children's horizons through sport and play, so that they naturally develop a healthy and active lifestyle. Each day we offer a sports activity tailored to age, interest or a specific goal—anything from tag to football, team-building games or live Stratego. We also let our creative side shine with crafts and other artistic activities.
We pick the children up safely from school in our recognisable blue Sportstuif cars, on foot or by taxi when needed. During school weeks we are open from the end of the school day until 18:30. In holidays and on study days we welcome children from 07:30 to 18:30, always packed with sporty holiday fun. Our care is flexible: parents choose the days and can swap by arrangement.
Sportstuif Cuijk has room for up to 60 children. We follow a clear pedagogical policy applied across all Sportstuif locations. Every child is free to be themselves and is given space to grow in a safe, sporty environment. We are proud of our positive 2024 ruling from the Disputes Committee and publish an annual GGD inspection report so that parents are fully informed about our quality and safety.Read more

- Children are given opportunities to discover their own and each other's abilities
- Staff encourage social interaction and guide children in making contact
- Staff hold the correct qualifications, Certificate of Conduct (VOG) statements and language proficiency levels

Violations
- Pedagogical policy: missing concrete description of working method for mixed activities with non-after-school care children and how the staff-to-child ratio is then safeguarded

Summary
After-school care (BSO) Sportstuif Cuijk was inspected on 12 January 2026. The location provides care for a maximum of 60 children aged 4 to 13 years in the sports complex of football club SIOL. The pedagogical practice and personnel matters are satisfactory: there is a recognisable programme with challenging activities, children are stimulated in their social development, and staff hold the correct qualifications and Certificate of Conduct (VOG) statements. There were two violations for which a recovery offer was made: the pedagogical policy lacked a concrete description of mixed activities with non-after-school care children, and the safety and health policy was not up to date (towels were not being changed daily). Both violations have been remedied. The advice to the municipality is: no enforcement action.
