Sport BSO Groote Veen in Eelde, an after-school care facility (BSO) for children aged 7 to 12 located in the Groote Veen sports hall, was inspected by GGD Drenthe on 4 June 2026. The unannounced annual inspection demonstrated that the location meets all assessed quality requirements across the domains of pedagogical climate, staff and groups, and accommodation. The 40 childcare places are provided in a 350 m² sports hall with sufficient indoor and outdoor space. There were 3 qualified staff members, 2 trainees, and 25 children present during the inspection. Staff members are familiar with the pedagogical policy and work in accordance with it. The staff-to-child ratio is in order, including registered exceptions on non-school days. All staff members hold a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and have been promptly registered in the Childcare Personnel Register. Children have a fixed mentor and are placed in core groups. No violations or areas for improvement were identified. The operator concurs with the findings and remains committed to quality improvement.
