Welcome to Speelleergroep Sinne Jacobijnerkerkhof, our intimate toddler care center located in the historic heart of Leeuwarden. Housed in a characteristic building at the foot of the impressive Great Jacobin Church, our location offers a unique setting where the rich history of the city can be felt. Our playgroup accommodates up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. We operate with a horizontal group structure where toddlers play and learn together with peers of the same age. Sessions take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 08:30 to 12:30. We provide development and experience-oriented activities that perfectly match the world of young children. Daily walks through the authentic streets of the old town introduce children to their immediate environment. We work with the VVE program Uk&Puk, specially developed for childcare centers, to optimally support your toddler's development. Our location features a spacious outdoor playground where children can play and explore freely. We also utilize the two connected schoolyards of Jenaplan Kindcentrum Oldenije, with whom we have a warm partnership. The nearby grass field in front of our location is a favorite meeting spot where toddlers play with friends and neighborhood children. Children with a VVE indication from age 2 are entitled to municipal compensation for 3 sessions per week. These children receive priority in placement.
