Children don't have to do arts and crafts every day, but they can if they feel like it. Your childminder takes into account the individual wishes of the children. Childminder care offers a home-like atmosphere where children feel at ease and can build a good emotional bond with their childminder. Due to the small scale (maximum 6 children including the childminder's own children up to 10 years old), children receive plenty of attention and their social development is stimulated.

Parents can apply for childcare benefit (kinderopvangtoeslag) from the Tax and Customs Administration/Allowances when care takes place with a childminder registered in the National Childcare Register who is supervised by Solo Bambini. The amount of childcare benefit depends on parental income: lower-income parents receive a higher allowance than parents with a higher income.
Gastouderbureau Solo Bambini applies competitive agency rates with no registration fee. The agency works with two rate structures: an hourly rate for children who need up to approximately 45 hours of care per month, and a favourable monthly rate for children who need 45 hours or more of care per month (valid until the month they turn four). In addition to the agency rates, the childminder charges their own care rate, which is set by the childminder themselves.
