This inspection report concerns a registration investigation for childminder/host parent care (gastouderopvang) provided by Ms. Sluis at Heiweg 179 in Nijmegen, commissioned by childminder agency KINOP. The inspection took place on 23 October 2025. The location is suitable for day care, after-school care and pre-school care. The childminder has been registered in the LRK since 2015 and has appropriate qualifications, a valid paediatric first aid certificate and Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The home has sufficient play and sleeping space, a smoke-free environment and an adequate backup care arrangement. There was one outstanding action point from the risk assessment: installing a door stopper at the sliding door between the parents' bedroom and bathroom. This was discussed with the childminder and requesting parent and will be resolved before the start of care. This point was amended in the response. The number of childcare places is proposed to be changed from 3 to 6.
