About this care
Simba Blinkerd BSO is located in the same modern building as Christelijke Basisschool De Blinkerd at Poelenburgh 1 in Monster. We provide after-school care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our BSO is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 223556361 since April 1, 2018.
The location works closely with the primary school to create a continuous line of care from 0-12 years. Children can come to a familiar environment after school where they can play, relax and participate in activities. We are open from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and offer care from 7:00 AM on request.
Our professional pedagogical staff are ready to give children a great time after school. We offer both before-school care (VSO) and after-school care as well as holiday care. The collaboration with the school ensures a smooth transition between school and childcare.Read more

BSO Simba Blinkerd in Monster was inspected unannounced on 3 February 2025. The childcare centre provides after-school care (BSO) for up to 60 children in two base groups. The Municipal Health Service (GGD) found that the location meets all statutory quality requirements: the pedagogical policy is implemented as agreed, all staff are correctly registered and hold a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), the safety and health policy is current and adhered to, paediatric first aid coverage is arranged, the domestic violence reporting protocol is known, and there is an active parent committee. No violations were found and no recovery action was necessary. The municipality of Westland was advised not to take enforcement measures.
